Saying goodbye to Raouf

July 31, 2022

The end of an era... the beginning of another? It is with mixed feelings we sent off Pastor Raouf Soliman and his family on July 30th, on their way to pastor an Arabic church in Dearborn, MI. Raouf joined our Kanisa church-planting project here in 2019—together with Dr. Duane Alexander Miller we began having weekly services in Arabic in the Tetuan district in Madrid.  This has been a truly Spirit-led effort, a kingdom project reflecting the diversity of the body of Christ:  Duane and Sharon as Anglican missionaries, Raouf as a Free Methodist missionary, and myself, Assemblies of God World Missions! We have thoroughly enjoyed the past 3+ years working together and if you are interested, there are abundant videos on Youtube and Facebook (Kanisa en Madrid) as well as our website: kanisaenmadrid.es

Please pray with us as we seek his replacement, and adjust to our new configuration. Pray for:
*Arabic speaking evangelists who have a heart for church-planting
*an Arabic speaking pastor, fully supported with a heart for pioneering a work in Madrid
*an outpouring of the Holy Spirit, and favor, over every person who is reaching out to Muslims in Spain
